Butch Phelps and the Elevators / Fawn Segerson
8:00pm - 11:00pm
BUTCH PHELPS has been a fixture in NYC's roots/Americana/folk scene since his arrival from Portland, Oregon in 2003. With his characteristic blend of grit, high-energy "swamp-folk" performances and poignant lyrics, Butch and his band are sure to Elevate their listeners. Butch Phelps's newest album, Elevaters, (released in 2019) is a robust collection of Americana songs as diverse and heart-felt as the genre itself. Twisting from country roads, fishing boats and subway cars, Elevaters draws inspiration from Phelps’s life as a musician, traveler, father and educator. www.ButchPhelpsMusic.com                                                                       FAWN SEGERSON is a singer/songwriter based in NYC. She is a classically trained pianist who regularly performs throughout NYC and the surrounding area solo and with her band “The New Old Fashions.” Fawn has a regular residency at both The Algonquin Hotel in Times Square and The Bitter End in the west village, the city's oldest rock club. In December of 2016, Fawn released her 4th album, Vis-A-Vis. Fawn is also writing music for TV and Film. In the fall her song "Losing Duel" will be featured on the hit show "Z Nation". Her striking appearance has recently cast her as Marilyn Monroe in Showtime’s series, Ray Donavan, staring Liev Schrieber.  www.fawnsegerson.com

Jamie Thomas / Carlos Calvo / Matt Blake
8:00pm - 11:00pm
10:00 set time: JAMIE THOMAS (NYC) had his musical epiphany not at the proverbial crossroads but a schoolyard in Astoria, Queens, where the music of Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones and others touched his soul and inspired him to play music as well as write songs. Jamie performs his own steeped-in-the-tradition originals with his reinterpretations of other numbers from the great real American music songbook that span from its origins to today.                     8:45 set time: CARLOS CALVO (Los Angeles) injects Alternative Folk/Pop with something it has been missing: virtuoso guitar playing. His original music features his warm, resonant voice, deep and thoughtful lyrics, accompanied by guitar playing that elegantly mixes genres from Blues to Flamenco and everything in between. Carlos grew up surrounded by world-famous flamenco and classical guitarists. He was formally trained at Carnegie Hall to play Bach and Barrios, but has been equally influenced by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Rolling Stones. Before embarking on his solo career, Carlos fronted successful bands that toured with Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Willie Porter. As a solo artist, he has toured with The Bacon Brothers and Colin Hay and numerous times in Europe as a headliner.                             8:00 set time: MATT BLAKE (Appleton, Wisconsin) is a self-described singer, comic, drifter and songwriter. Born the son of a minister and librarian in Leonardtown, Maryland, Matt has since been reborn in Cleveland, Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, Arkansas, Chicago and Albuquerque, and he’s finally settled squarely in Appleton, Wisconsin. Matt’s current LP, “All The Dirt In Town,” was produced by Doug Pettibone and features guests Lucinda Williams and Redd Volkaert. Matt’s solo music career has included opening for Lucinda on U.S. and European tours.
