Kelley Swindall
8:00pm - 9:00pm
Kelley Swindall was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, where she grew up listening to the music of Kris Kristofferson, Patsy Cline, and Johnny Cash on the way to church every Sunday morning, because that's what her Daddy listened to. Drawing from her Southern roots & background, her style is a blend of soulful & bluesy folk n roll coupled with a witty, gritty, classic country sensibility, inspired by the outlaw tradition, with music deeply rooted in story songs, talking blues, and driven by strong female characters who tell it like it is and don't take shit. You can find her playing solo out on the road, as well as around NYC, where she's opened for the likes of David Allen Coe, SUSTO, Jesse Malin, Tommy Stinson, Joseph Arthur, and Alan Merril, to name a few. She's currently touring and playing out in support of her upcoming record, "You Can Call Me Darlin' If You Want", produced by Mike Montali of Hollis Brown and Don Dilego. www.kelleyswindall.com

Michael Brunnock
9:00pm - 10:00pm
Michael Brunnock possesses an extraordinary voice, and his songs mine the profound. So it’s not surprising that David Byrne cast him to sing the role of an Irish musician on the brink of success whose voice guides Sean Penn through an emotional journey of self-discovery in This Must Be the Place (2012). The score by Byrne with lyrics by Will Oldham (Bonnie Prince Billy) called for a distinctive vocalist, which Brunnock is.  www.michaelbrunnock.com

His first three albums garnered critical success both here and abroad with Mike Morrone of XM radio calling O’Shea’s 2007 release, Be Here Still, “One of my favorite records of the year.” Hot Press says of the album: “Reflective rather than showy, this is introspective, and yet soul-searching has rarely sounded this warm and inclusive” and the Village Voice calls Brendan “A forerunner for you gig going dollar here in NYC with energy, truth, power and grace.”  www.brendanoshea.com

Luba Dvorak "American Sin" album release
9:00pm - 11:00pm
Ex-Brooklyn country-rocker Luba Dvorak celebrates the release of his latest album American Sin.   The ten song release takes influence from artists like Gary Stewart and Dwight Yoakam, with bright, raw guitar hooks and honest songwriting. The result is an easily-accessible guitar album that provides a classic country feel with a hint of the iconic Bakersfield Sound mixed with Texas Honky-Tonk and marinated in some New York Swagger. A style that Luba defines as “Brooklyn Twang.”  His heart-on-your-sleeve songwriting style resonates through raw, heart-wrenching vocals delivered in a relatable live off-the-floor style. The album was recorded in just one day at Atomic Sound in Brooklyn, New York.  He and his band will play the album in it's entirenty as well as the five song American Wino which was released in April 2019 as an “opening act” to American Sin.  American Sin is available August 30 on all digital platforms.  www.lubadvorak.com

Phil Gammage Quartet
9:00pm - 11:00pm
Phil Gammage returns with a new nine-song album “It’s All Real Good” and the CD release party is right here at 11th St. Bar. For this project, Phil found inspiration in such classic acoustic records as Johnny Cash’s American Recordings and the legendary blues albums of artists such as John Lee Hooker and Lightnin’ Hopkins. The album showcases Phil’s songwriting — all nine songs were penned by Gammage.  Sessions were produced by Tony Mann. Stand out tracks include “Dancing on Top of the World” — Phil’s tribute to the late great New York City music venue Windows on the World (on the top floor of the World Trade Center), “Hellcat Maggie” about the 19th century American folk legend, and the Roy Orbinson-esque “Let Love Begin”.  With guest musicians Kenny Margolis (Willy DeVille, Cracker) on accordion; Tony Mann on percussion; David Fleming (PG4) on harmonica; and vocalist Michele Butler.  He brings his full Quartet out for this 2 set gig of killer blues music.

Niall Connolly
8:00pm - 10:00pm
1977. The year that punk was born. With only hours left to spare it also produced a baby boy in the suburbs of Cork, Ireland, born with his ears piqued to the murmurs and clatter around him.  As he grew the soundtrack changed. Nirvana on the Walkman. Leonard Cohen on his sister’s stereo. The surge of bands and songwriters emerging from the 1990’s Cork music scene. Later it became snippets of eavesdropped New York conversation. Tales of woe on the radio. The sights and sounds of tours across Europe.  All of it gets woven into a tapestry of words. Then melody. Harmonies added in the studio. Electricity, sincerity, and humor on the stage. At the core of every Niall Connolly song is the story, one that unfolds a layer with each listen.
